Getting involved in an appeal is a great way to support Kids First in our vision that all children and young people thrive in resilient, strong and safe families and communities.

Listed below are our current appeals:

Sadly, over the past year, Kids First Family Services has seen greater demand and increasingly complex cases with recurring themes such as family violence, criminal activity, mental illness, gambling, alcohol and drug addiction, plus housing and financial stress.

Our small, dedicated Family Services team provides a holistic approach that includes drug addiction referrals, family counselling, parent support groups, connections to social welfare assistance and general advocacy. Whilst material assistance isn't a core function of our programs and services, we welcome any in-kind and monetary donations that will ease the burden on clients as they navigate a difficult period in their lives.

Grocery Shopping Voucher

For vulnerable and disadvantaged clients of ours, meeting basic expenses such as rent, bills, clothing and school-related fees is often very tough. Beyond that, affording decent breakfasts, lunches and dinners is yet another stress they don't need.  Donating so as we can provide grocery vouchers is a way you can support these children and their parents/carers so they are well nourished during emotionally challenging times.
