What is Kids First Trauma-Informed Consultancy and Coaching?

Kids First School Readiness packages equip early years educators with the tools they need to support children’s social and emotional needs before they transition to school.

We are an accredited School Readiness Provider as part of the Victorian State Government School readiness funding menu.

Our unique service offering

Adopting a trauma informed and relational approach, our School Readiness consultancy packages deliver a holistic perspective to child wellbeing derived from first-hand experience at our own early childhood centres.

What will I gain from Kids First Trauma-informed Consultancy and Coaching?

With Kids First, you will learn how to:

• support children experiencing vulnerability to reach their full potential while understanding and supporting the child's family
• identify the underlying factors impacting educational outcomes
• strengthen factors that promote resilience within the child and the child's family 
• assist in supporting the child to arrive at school ready to learn and thrive.

How to access our services

All of our services are available through the School Readiness Funding Menu. We will prioritise all bookings from services who have included us on their School Readiness Funding plans.

If you are not yet eligible for School Readiness Funding or you did not include us on your plan, please contact us and we can discuss availability to support your service. If you are in the process of developing your School Readiness Funding plan, please contact us and we can support you to develop a tailored package to ensure you make the most of your funding allocation.
