Donating goods - when to donate

We currently can only accept donations between 10am and 2pm, Monday to Friday. Depending on the volume received that day and if our storage space is all allocated, we may occasionally ask that donations are dropped off the following day. To avoid inconvenience for you, we highly recommend giving our store a call before you drop off a donation and we can let you know whether space is available that day. We thank you so much for your understanding!

Why donate?

By donating your good quality clothing, accessories, books, bric-a-brac, toys and small furniture you are making a positive difference in two ways. You are actively reducing landfill but perhaps more importantly you are making a difference to those less fortunate in our community, who need a helping hand.

Please don't leave donations on the street in front of our stores as we receive penalty notices from the local council for dumped street rubbish. As you can imagine we would rather our Op Shops income is directed to our programs for children and families.

Restricted Merchandise (can be sold if Safety Standards are met)

Baby Walkers

The walker must have four (4) Warning Labels which are permanently fixed and easy to see. They include a general warning, a stair warning, warning of use on flat surfaces and a burn warning.

Change Tables

Compliance to Australian Safety Standard label is legible and permanently attached.

Bouncinettes

Compliance to Australian Safety Standard label is legible and permanently attached.

Children’s Nightwear & Jumpsuits

Fire Safety Warning Labels are legible and attached

Cots

Compliance to Australian Safety Standard label is legible and permanently attached.

Flotation Toys & Swimming Aids

Warning labels regarding adult supervision and not a life saving device are legible and permanently attached.

Highchairs

Compliance to Australian Safety Standard label is legible and permanently attached.
